Past Recipients
Since inception, Richie's Spirit Foundation has provided more than $17,000 in financial assistance to families with pediatric patients awaiting or recently recovering from organ transplantation. Our grants help to alleviate the financial burdens associated with organ transplantation.
The stories of the Richie's Spirit Foundation Transplant Assistance Grant recipients are both inspiring and heartwarming. The Foundation respects the privacy of our recipients and does not release any personal information about patients or their families without consent.
"Being a single mom of three kids, this grant helps take some stress of the financial burden that comes along with [my son’s] heart transplant. I had to miss 5 months of work and multiple days after for the many appointments and lab work that is required to make sure his heart stays healthy. This grant allows me to not stress so much about that and focus on what is important: His health and wellbeing.
