For 16 incredible years, Richie’s Spirit Foundation has served as a beacon of hope and advocacy.

Founded in memory of Richie Herskowitz, we set out with a simple yet profound goal: to ensure that Richie’s passion for life and his advocacy for organ donation would continue to change the world even after he was gone.

Today, we are proud to announce that this goal has been met with overwhelming success.

As of December 2025, Richie’s Spirit Foundation has officially sunset its active fundraising and grant-making operations. We are not closing the door on Richie’s memory; rather, we are sealing a time capsule of incredible work achieved by a large community of supporters, family, and friends from all around the world.

This website now stands as a portfolio of our collective impact—a testament to what is possible when we choose to live with a positive spirit.
